Agriculture and farmers form the backbone of our ecosystem since time immemorial.
As though invisibly, these farmers have been feeding our staggering ~137 crore population contributing to 17-18% of our GDP. Yet, unfortunately, these farmers do not get the respect and value for the hard work they deserve. The living conditions of a majority of farmers are deeply disturbing and their life is much dependent upon the forces of nature.
In order to keep feeding our growing population in spite of the adversities of nature, our farmers are forced to use excessive chemical fertilizers and pesticides. The use of these hazardous chemicals though provides higher yield initially, degrades the fertility of the soil and creates an enormous health risk to both the farmers and well as the consumers.
Having grown up in an agricultural family and having worked in the IT field, we understand these difficulties both from farmer’s and consumer’s perspective at first hand. In view of this, our attempt is to create a sustainable ecosystem where:
The health of the soil can be restored and maintained -> moving to Organic farming.
The farmers get the respect and compensation they deserve -> getting the right price for their produce.
Creating awareness in the consumers about organic produce -> Access to a continuous supply of organic produce.

By subscribing to this, our farmers are guaranteed demand for their produce and are better able to plan and utilize the funds for cultivation over the entire year thereby allowing them to grow happily and live a dignified life without perpetual borrowing.
